September 6 - Prayer Breakfast: In the FLC MPR1; speakers will be Dr. Adewale Troutman and Chief Robert White.  Also this will serve as the kick-off for Men’s Month. (Coordinators – Ed Maxwell, Jerry Haskins, and Darrell Rhodes)


September 12 – 2nd Annual Bowl-a-rama: Site to be determined. All you can bowl for 3 hours.  Free shoes will be included in the price.  This will be a family activity for all. (Coordinator – Darrell Rhodes)


September 13 – 2nd Annual Golf Scramble: Golf Scramble at Shawnee Golf Course.  Start time will be in the early pm.  A percentage of the proceeds will go to the Boy Scouts.  (Coordinator – Brad Lackey)


September 14  – Men’s Day: 250 voice male choir and men in the kitchen.  (Coordinators – Kevin James, Jerry Haskins, Damon Saunders, Ed Maxwell, and Don Jones)


September 19 – 3rd Annual Male Choir Festival: Six Male groups and quartets singing in the St Stephen Sanctuary with a least one featured group or major artist. (Coordinators – Ed Maxwell, Jerry Haskins, and Kevin James)



September 27 – ”The Gift of Me“ (Play): – a play about African American organ donation which is much needed in the community.  The organ donation group will also be at the Health Fair on Sept 28 and 29 for sign-up. (Coordinator – David Birch)



September 28 – 2nd Annual Health Fair and Fun Day: Annual Health Fair and Fun day.  The Health Fair will be held in the FLC and the fun day will be outside on the grassy knoll.  Fun Day will include a car show, booths, Chili Cook-off, 3 on 3 basketball, and possibly an entertainment stage with local acts. (Coordinators – Darrell Rhodes and Norman Cleaver).


September 29 – 2nd Annual Health Fair (continued)
