”Today I met a woman with an untreatable cancer and given no chance for life. Never had so much as a cold and went to the doctor with a headache that wouldn't go away, was given two weeks to live in June. She has made it three months. Still cooks all her family's meals, gardens, cleans, shops, walks, goes to ballgames, never feels bad, said, ‘oh well sometimes things don't go your way’. So needless to say, she was so refreshing! My friend and I left (the cancer treatment center) in tears deciding that we didn't have it so bad!“

Apostle Paul wrote to the Philippians: ”I've learned by now to be quite content whatever my circumstances. I'm just as happy with little as with much, with much as with little. I've found the recipe for being happy whether full or hungry, hands full or hands empty. Whatever I have, wherever I am, I can make it through anything in the One who makes me who I am.“
Philippians 4:11-13 (The Message)
Our expectations of how life should be, usually causes frustration, unhappiness, and depression. But if we can grasp the reality- life won’t always turn out like we expect it to and whatever the circumstance God is still with us- then we can learn to live happily and joyfully.
But Job replied, "… Should we accept only good things from the hand of God and never anything bad?"
Job 2:10 (New Living)
